Potomac River Yacht Clubs

National Potomac Yacht Club (NPYC) was established in 1963 to promote boating pleasure, recreation, education and safety for its members. NPYC primarily serves members who participate in power boating on the upper Potomac River, but welcomes members who are located elsewhere. NPYC hosts several land-based events each year that are open to the public, including the annual Flag Raising Ceremony, Octoberfest and the Oyster Roast. The club schedules several raft-ups, short cruises and a long cruise per year. NPYC enjoys the hospitality of Guest Services Inc. who allow the use of the marina office and snack bar at Columbia Island Marina, located in front of the Pentagon, for meetings and other functions of the club.
