For more than 50 years, Seafarers Yacht Club and its members have devoted their time and efforts to providing wholesome, fun-filled activities on and around the Anacostia River. As a member club of the Potomac River Yacht Clubs Association (PRYCA), the Seafarers also participate in activities on the Potomac River, its tributaries, and the Chesapeake Bay. We were the catalyst for what is now called the annual Anacostia River Cleanup, and are active in many other community activities.
